If you’re a United States veteran, we would be honored to take you on a Freedom Flight – a completely free trip to visit national memorials and monuments that recognize your service and sacrifice.
Our next Freedom Flight is visiting Washington, D.C., Sept. 24-27, 2025. You can apply online or by mail.

What is a Freedom Flight?
Freedom Flight are multi-day trips to visit memorials and monuments in places like Washington, D.C.
Who is eligible?
Any active United States military member or honorably discharged veteran is eligible to apply. Please click here for the full list of eligibility requirements.
Do I have to be from Oklahoma or live in Oklahoma to apply?
Preference will be given to Oklahoma veterans, but we will gladly fly any veteran, regardless of where you’re from or currently live.
How much will I pay for a Freedom Flight?
There is no cost to veterans. Travel, lodging, and meals are all provided thanks to generous donors and sponsors.
Can I bring a guest?
Any guests you’d like to bring with you must submit a Patriot application, receive approval, and pay for their expenses. Visit the “Volunteers” page to learn more.
Where do Freedom Flights depart from, and is transportation provided to the airport?
All Freedom Flight depart from the Tulsa International Airport. All approved travelers are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the airport and the associated costs.
When will I be contacted about my application?
Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee selection. A member of the Oklahoma Freedom Flight team will review your application against our eligibility requirements and will be in touch within 4-6 weeks of receiving your application.
